We know that when it comes to wedding stationery design, many couples have no idea where to start.

 


 

That is why Wedding Design by Anika is pleased to offer two options, helping couples create the perfect stationery for their special event.

 

i would like to create custom invitations

We love helping couples express themselves using paper, typography and colour!

Consultation

We provide our custom design clients with a free 30 minute consultation to discover who you are as a couple, and what your design needs are. Prior to the consultation we ask that our potential couple fill out the pre-consultation questionnaire found on my website. This gives us a bird’s eye view of style, colours, and time frame.

Quoting

Within four business days of our meeting, you will receive an estimate that breaks down the costs for: design time, printing, shipping and handling (if required), and gst. Once the estimate is approved, you will receive a contract to be returned with a 50% down payment before any design work is started. Custom design packages start at $500 CAD.

Designing

Within 10 business days of receiving the approved estimate, contract and deposit, you will receive a digital proof with up to 3 concepts for your design.
Please provide us with feedback and any minor text/design changes. We will revise the artwork and provide you with an updated proof within 3 business days.
If necessary, a second updated proof for minor edits will be provided at no additional at cost. Any major design revisions or additional proofs will incur additional design costs.

Approving

Once you have received your final proof and signed off, verifying that all information (names, dates, times and spelling etc.) are correct, you have the option of requesting a sample print for an additional cost. Once you have given your written approval of the proofs, the balance of the invoice is due before the order is sent to print. Once the order has been sent to print, no edits to the order can be made.

Printing

Depending on printing process, size and assembly time, most orders will take between 3-5 weeks to complete. Need it sooner? Rush printing and assembly options are available for an additional fee.

We thrilled that you have chosen one of the collection designs to announce your special day!

Ordering

Navigate to the design that you would like to purchase and choose the size (if applicable) and quantity and click the “add to basket” button. Repeat this step for all matching stationery items that you would like to combine into one order. (Most designs can be combined into matching invitation, rsvp card and save the date card sets)

Once you have added all of the items you wish to purchase, navigate to your basket page and review your order. Any quantity discounts will be visible at that time. If you are ready to process your order, please continue to the “checkout” page and fill in your billing and shipping information.

Congratulations, you have successfully placed your order!

Customizing

Once your order has been placed, it’s time to personalize the artwork. Either head back to the item page or [click here] to view the color options for your design.

Once you have selected your colour options please download and complete the design customization form. This will be provided to you in a link upon the order completion. Please include any information required for your event. If you have any questions, or did not receive the link, please [email] us. Note: your design will be populated with the exact information provided in the submitted form. Please ensure that all wording entered into the fields are correct. Wedding Design by Anika is not responsible for any errors contained in the supplied information.

Minor changes vs major changes

Minor changes apply to items that do not affect the structure of the design. These include:
• name and personal text changes.
• colour changes (if selected from the provided colour chart).

Major changes apply to items that affect the structure of the design. These include:
• changing the font for the text.
• custom colour choices.
• moving and/or removing elements from the design.

Proofing

Each design from the collection comes with 2 complementary proofs for minor changes. Any major changes or additional proofs will incur additional design costs.
